The free ocean tide loading provider, endorsed by the International Earth Rotation Service, is a web-service used by groups all of the world to analyse their GNSS data.
It computes how much the position of a given GPS station varies due to the varying weight of the ocean tides. This effect can reach several centimetres and needs to be corrected to obtain the most accurate position.
SEGAL now computes these corrections for the web-service for the latest ocean tide models TPXO.8, FES2012 and FES2014b.
